Both kids are getting identical laptops this year (Toshiba).  Here are some notes on setting them up.

  * iTunes since they will want to sync with their respective iPod Touch's (spoiled much!?)
  * Firefox browser so they can be like mommy and daddy browsing

  * Minecraft for the boy for sure
  * Thunderbird configured for their email account
  * VLC to play back media
