Probably won't need a car the first week (I won't), but maybe the parent's would like one.  I'll be at the conference all week, and essentially hotel bound.

  * The cost of a minivan which will seat all of us is around $1200.
  * Two smaller cars would cost the same and give us more room and flexibility.

  * I spoke with an agent from [[http://www.raileurope.com/]] and we found there is a local train from the Airport to the main Geneva terminal.  From there you can take a direct 3 hour train to Stresa.
    - Train you want to take is: CIS 125
      * Depart Geneva main station at 11:07 on Saturday May 02, 2009
      * Arrive in Stresa 14:30 on Saturday May 02, 2009
