I ignored all the “beach” ones except Baby Beach. Wow, there is plenty to see and do:
- Philip's Animal Garden, Noord
- Baby Beach, San Nicolas
- Arikok National Park, Santa Cruz
- Natural Pool
- National Archaeological Museum Aruba
- Ayo and Casibari Rock Formations
- Seroe Colorado (geologic formations)
- Guadirikiri Caves (awesome)
- Wilhelmina Park, Oranjestad
- Natural Bridge
- Museo Arubano, Oranjestad (Aruba History Museum)
- Bushiri Karting Speedway, Oranjestad (SPEEDWAY!?!) hehe
- Stonehenge of Aruba
- De Man Shell Collection, Oranjestad
Suggestions from Bill
- Tour of lighthouse and north side of island.
- Snorkeling at Baby Beach in lagoon on southeastern tip of island. Bring bread to feed the fish. We rented a car to get there.
- 1/2 day sport fishing on charter boat. Caught a wahoo and lost a marlin. Water was very rough even though it was calm at the beach.
- Semi-submersible submarine tour of shipwrecks.
Suggestions from Debbie
- She mentioned a pirate ship that sails around the bay and they feed you dinner.
- Probably this: Jolly Pirates Cruises
- She also mentioned a bus that drives around the island where you can drink on the bus, but that's more of an adult only experience I should think
- Here is the Kukoo Kunuku Bus
Places to Eat
Just looking at Trip Advisor Restaurants, these jumped out at me: (it looks like we have lots of choices)
- Costa Riba, San Nicolas
- Barefoot Restaurant
- Hollywood Smokehouse
- Scott's Brats
You know what.. never mind… there are so many, all of these sound awesome … we will just look while down there and head to whatever we're in the mood for or eat at home.
